Our New Couch

This is our new couch. It is as soft as the clouds in heaven where it was made. While I was testing our couch in the store, two women came over and sat beside me. One of them said, "See - this one's too soft?" Too soft? What are you... Goldilocks? The only job a couch has is "being soft." A football helmet can be too soft, but not a couch. Calling a couch too soft is like saying a cookie is too delicious. How dare you insult its only reason for existing? Too soft? Do you know what I say to that? "Soft couch... welcome home."

What? Only one wife? Congrats, I am sure she deserves that soft couch. I must say I am stunned with your digital techniques. Can you teach me? It must be a woodoo of the Photoshop.

Shane, I must sit on your couch and watch your life-size TV. I've found that having such a comfortable couch takes the threat out of "You're sleeping on the couch!". My wife and I both laugh everytime she threatens me with that.

Happy Birthday, Lindy!

This is a very, very comical piece. I love your commentary. Drawn lovely.

Happy Couch Day, and Happy Birthday. It is a nice feeling to get a luxury couch, and you must relish it to the highest level possible. However, it appears from your drawing that you may be sitting on the couch nude, and I can't condone that. It's a leather couch, though, so I doubt you'll make the same mistake twice.

I agree completely (on both couches and cookies)!

Such a waste. You just bought such a great TV, and now you can't even see it. Your couch is nice, though.

I've never had a man-eating couch, though some day I hope to get one. That looks really comfortable. And who cares about seeing T.V. when you're THAT comfortable... and limber? I don't think I've touched my toes since 2nd Grade. Perhaps owning a man-eating couch will help me get to the point where I can touch them again. Hysterical sketch Shane.

Haha, damn straight! I hate it when people have really posh sofas that are so uncomfortable. Squishy ones are the best! Nice illo :)

That is hilarious and very well done! I wish I had a soft couch made of heavenly cloud pillows, but for some reason I decided to get a not so soft modern couch that looked cool. Now I don't like lounging in the living room.
