Speedy Cheetahs

Cheetahs are the fastest of all land animals. They have been known to reach speeds up to 70 miles an hour. I had a Ford Tempo once that was known to reach speeds up to 67 miles an hour, at which point it shook so violently that the glove compartment opened on its own.

Seventy miles an hour, cheetahs? I find that difficult to believe. No one can ride a unicycle that fast... especially considering the wind-resistance commonly caused by party hats.

I drew this for Jared Hess. He signed a "Nacho Libre" poster for me, and on the poster he wrote, "Maybe you could draw a cheetah for me some day." And so I did. I doubt anyone will ever understand why this particular cheetah is riding a unicycle... including me.

Well even Cheetahs get tired of running. Great stuff.

Yay! Cheetahs are my most favorite animal! My day just went from pretty good to super spectacular after viewing your drawing.

(I bet he could do at least 50 mph on that.)

Who needs a reason? Cheetahs don't need justification. They're endangered. That's their free ticket to do whatever the hell they want. "Hey man, cut me a break. I'm endangered." (btw: I love that the tire is semi flat)

Hahah, he looks so utterly dissatisfied with the fact that, yet again, he has to prove his unicycling skills.

I tried riding a unicycle once, but without the party hat. I'm bettin' that would have made the difference for me between "success" and "the outcome I experienced" which lasted several minutes after my surprising dismount over that interesting seat that is shaped something like a trailer hitch on the front.

Oh my crud, how funny! my first car was a Ford Tempo and it did the SAME THING. LOL! It also stalled in the middle of just about EVERY intersection. Love the cheetah...especially the expression on his face! LOL!

I try to leave comments on your blog, but your commentary is so weird I keep getting speechless. So, it should come as no surprise to you that my comment on this drawing is....

I'm speechless.

Also, great Cheetah. Though I hear they never prosper.
