Koalas Aren't Bears

Why do we call them koala bears? It's not a bear - it's a marsupial. Bears don't have pouches! It is also important to note that koalas mainly eat leaves from eucalyptus trees while real bears eat kids.

Pandas don't have pouches, so they're not marsupials like the koalas. But because of their bamboo-eating policy, within the bear world they are techincally known as "sissy bears."
