I haven't done much blogging lately, which I feel bad about. I've spent most of my free-time in the last week trying to rebuild my iTunes library. Rating more than 10,000 songs from one to five stars takes about thirty hours more than I expected it to... I only expected it to take about 140. Glad that's done.
Another thing I do that takes up a lot of my life is journal writing, which I've done each of the last 4,844 days... filling up over 25 different journals no one will ever even want to read, much less try to. I started writing on October 4, 1993, and I haven't missed a day since. I love it, but it takes a lot of time. Life passes me by as I write about it.
Time to get back into blogging... more to come later this week.
Love the picture! Doing anything every day for that long is impressive! You'll have to start archiving your journals soon! - Or you could illustrate them if you want a challenge!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazzazaing! Good job stickin' to it. I use to write in my journal everyday. In fact I started keeping a journal in the 3rd grade and wrote faithfully until half way through my first year of college. It filled 13 journals (and was 90% about crushes I had on different boys- so lame). Since then I have only filled half of a journal which is quite pathetic considering that's when most of the biggest things of my life have happened (graduating, getting engaged, married, career, two children, a bajillion moves, releasing an album etc. okay the last one's a lie). Anyway, you have inspired me! Thanks and keep it up Mr.
ReplyDeleteLove the focus on this guys face. I dont know why but the socks add to the determination in a relaxing way.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds mind numbing with the music..I dont have nearly that many and commend you that you accomplished that feat let alone walked up to the plate.
My time squasher these days is sudoku. A habit I shouldve waited til after skool to take a hold of..
I feel your pain and look forward to the entertainment you always have here
Hey Shane! Man, I've been lazy myself, mainly for checking out other blogs. Glad to see you're explaining why you've been such a naughty blogger *tish*. That New Years hippo is awesome! haha. Glad you liked the pillow murder lol. Taker easy and looking forward to seeing (and commenting) on new posts by thee. Taker easy man.
ReplyDeletePS Your link will be back up on my page soon. I changed templates neglecting to copy all the links over.
I think your stuff is amazing! I first found it through the website called Drawn and I've been visiting it ever since. Thanks for taking the time to display your work on this blog. Its wonderfully creative.
ReplyDeleteHaha iTunes can be killer. Nice work, I like the Hippo. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteVery impressed with the journal writing. That's pretty awesome....especially for a guy! ;-) Since 1993 eh? Uh oh. ;-) I used to do the same up until I got married and then just got out of the habit. That's why blogging has been so great for me. It has gotten me BACK in the habit. I have my regular blog, but then I also have another one that I keep for my eyes only. I also print out all of my entries and spiral bind them. It's not handwritten like the first 15 years of journals I have....but at least I'm doing it. You're awesome to be so religious at it!
