Rabbits Need Claws

Do not declaw your rabbit! Unlike cats, the bottoms of a rabbit's feet have no pads, so they need their claws to balance. Declawing your rabbit would basically cripple it, so only do that if you're intentionally punishing it... in which case you really need to lighten up on your rabbit.

  1. Wow, I had no idea. I mean, I had an idea, but it was unrelated to your post. It was about hedgehogs. But I don't think anyone declaws hedgehogs, so let's focus on the rabbits instead.

These are a couple of the nicest l'il ol' rabbits I've seen! Love the colors, the designs, the ridiculous amounts of appeal...

When are you going teach the rest of us what you do so instinctively?

  5. Wouldn't the vet advise their clients about this? Or, do they perform whatever pet appendage removal the owner requests.

"Can you de-eye my goldfish? They keep starring at me when I'm asleep."

    Psycho.

  6. Excellent, as usual. I'm just happy that they're not sitting in the street staring at headlights... Right? They're not, are they?

Don't declaw, but I recommend neutering!

  10. awesome stuff, however I must say declawing is bad for cats too! Their nails are part of their bone and thus the last joint of their toes must be broken off - its painful and throws off their balance as well, there is also a big chance of the cat developing psychological/personality problems.

    fantastic drawings :)
